The Lord is My Light and My Salvation, First Performance of Setting of Psalm 27 by Laudamus

On Friday, January 24th, the appointed Psalm for the day was Psalm 27. I recently composed a musical setting of this Psalm for the seminary choral group Laudamus, which is going on tour to Texas in late February, so seminary music director David Johnson suggested that we perform during chapel services. I think it went very well, considering it is somewhat a work in progress (I haven't written the piano accompaniment down yet.) and a few members of the choir couldn't sing with us that morning because they were teaching in Lutheran schools as part of Pastor as Educator class. My wife, Vickie, thinks that she hears me singing more than anybody else. The phone camera was close to me. Maybe so.
